Hells Bells is the ideal game for addressing team communication issues, project management skills and exploring team dynamics.  A uniquely different, non-competitive team development event, the participants have to construct a series of mechanical sculptures that must be correctly aligned to automatically enact the discovered story, pulling together all of the inherent cryptic clues and riddles.

How Hells Bells benefits your team’s development

Participation in the game will address many objectives, including:

·  Effective communication

·  Sharing information

·  Co-operation

·  Trust

·  Planning and time management

·  Assessing and using available resources

·  Understanding and defining objectives

·  Understanding and questioning instructions & parameters

·  Leadership skills

·  Lateral thought

·  Individual teams working together to achieve a common goal

·  FUN throughout…with a SPECTACULAR FINALE!

Hells Bells philosophy

There is one goal that the whole team is working towards.  No team can achieve any significant result if they work in isolation. For every challenge within the game, there is invariably more than one route to the solution.

Hells Bells encompasses a wide range of skills and disciplines including:

General knowledge, research ability, genealogy (family tree), logic, analysis, mathematics, lateral thinking, mechanics, construction skills, spatial awareness, creativity, imagination, word-craft, storytelling, music, costume making, acting, organisational skills, negotiation, diplomacy, communication and especially listening.

Every challenge has a part to play in obtaining the final, overall solution

Physical construction

There are 12 brightly coloured 'mechanical' sculptures that are initially in their component parts. The sculptures are allocated to specific teams to build from stylised line drawings and other associated information.  Additional relevant tasks are incorporated for larger groups.

Logical deduction

Information packs contain a series of clues and riddles leading the teams to the order and layout of the sculptures and to the answer to the single answer the game demands.

Finale

The finale is immensely satisfying for the participants, resulting in a genuine, well-earned sense of achievement.  All the sculptures trigger each other in an ingenious chain reaction, allowing the participants physically to see and have ownership of their part in the ‘big picture’, thereby bringing everyone together.
